Current Cup holder’St Nicholas Abbey will face five rivals when he defends his crown in the Diamond Jubilee Coronation Cup at Epsom on Saturday.

The five-year-old attempts to become the first dual winner since Warrsan struck for Clive Brittain in 2003 and 2004, as well as trying to give trainer Aidan O’Brien his sixth success in eight years.

Godolphin’s Dubai World Cup hero Monterosso was the only other withdrawal.
