Frankel Racing’s equine world champion is back in work afterthe setback that sparked fears Khalid Abdullah‘s unbeaten superstar could be retired. Trainer Sir Henry Cecil told At The Races: “He’ll have a racecourse gallop at Newmarket on Sunday and hopefully get to the Lockinge. We’ll keep our fingers crossed all goes well.”

Offering his latest thoughts on a potential showdown with Australia’s Black Caviar this summer, Cecil added: “She’s brilliant and so consistent, but it’s difficult to assess the form. It’s very different. I’d love to meet her but the only chance is the Sussex. I’d look forward to that and respect her a lot.”
