Meehan considers Sandown return for Most Improved

Last seen when beaten less than a length into third by Parish Hall in the Dewhurst Stakes, the colt is one of 19 entries for the Heron Stakes.
Trainer Brian Meehan said on Friday: “We gave Most Improved all the time he needed and he’s now back in full work.
“We’re looking to run him shortly but we’re yet to discuss whether he’ll take up his entry at Sandown.”
Most Improved, who was backed from 40-1 to 4-1 second favourite for the Guineas, had been due to go on trial in the Craven Stakes butwas found to be lame on the morning of the race.
The Roger Charlton-trained Top Offer, who disappointed on his reappearance in the 2,000 Guineas when he beat only two home, is also in the Heron entries.
