Paddy Power originally went 20-1 after the race, but were forced to fall into line with Bet365 and cut the colt further.
The Guineas are along way off however and trainer Jim Bolger was thinking no further ahead than the next start. He said: “He’ll go to Ascot, probably for the Chesham with the Coventry as a possible, he’s entered in both. Kevin Manning said they went a five furlong pace the whole way, a fierce gallop, but he stuck at it well.”
Ridden by Kevin Manning, the colt extended his unbeaten run to three and took a lead through the early part of the race from the British raider, before having to work harder than his price suggested to get past Richard Hughes’s mount.
Nothing else got into the race, with the other four runners a long way behind from an early stage. Dawn Approach eventually won by two and three-quarter lengths.
