“It would be a big step up in Ascot, but if the rain keeps coming I’m pleased that we’re well covered with entries.”

In the Diamond Jubilee Stakes next Saturday, favourite Black Caviar’s price continues to come under pressure, and it could be that the 2-5 still available with bet365 and Ladbrokes disappears on Tuesday. French filly Moonlight Cloud is second favourite and was also trimmed on Monday, into 8-1 (from 10) by Blue Square, while Betfred go 10-1 having been 14s.
